Product Care & Safety Guide

This handcrafted piece was formed with precision, elevated intention, and materials selected for aesthetic delight—not functional use.
Each detail exists to activate beauty, not utility. While we provide care guidelines to help preserve your artifact’s integrity, HighBudSugar assumes no liability for misuse, damage, or injury resulting from improper handling, use outside of intended purposes, or failure to follow care & safety instructions.

Treat your piece as art. Not a toy.

Before First use:

  • Your piece has arrived — follow these steps to ensure a flawless experience:
  • Carefully remove your ashtray from the packaging and take out all internal paper inserts, including the signature HighBudSugar card (a small branded slip — consider it our confectionery calling card).
  • Inside the box, you’ll find a cigarette/preroll clip. This is not just a courtesy — it’s protection. Before using your ashtray, insert the clip into its designated resting spot. This will prevent burns, discoloration, or heat warping, keeping your piece visually and energetically intact.
  • Gently wipe your piece with a dry microfiber cloth to remove any surface particles or packaging traces.

Cleaning Tips:

If the included smoke clip is used as instructed, nothing but ashes should ever come into contact with the resin surface. No burns, no direct contact, no unnecessary drama. In this case, cleaning should be minimal and effortless.

For regular upkeep:

  • Tap out loose ash gently. Do not bang, scrape, or drop your ashtray — it’s art, not armor.
  • Use a dry microfiber cloth or a soft brush to sweep away residue.
  • If needed, for gentle cleaning, we recommend using a mild soap such as Blue Dawn dish soap (diluted), Dr. Bronner’s Unscented Castile Soap, Mrs. Meyer’s Clean Day (unscented), Seventh Generation Free & Clear
(Always apply to the cloth, never directly to the piece.)
  • Avoid:
Alcohol, acetone, vinegar, bleach, citrus oils, or anything with heavy fragrance or grit — these will cloud, discolor, or degrade the finish, especially over time.

  • Glow-in-the-dark or mica-powdered details should never be scrubbed or soaked.

Storage Instructions:

  • Store in a cool, shaded area — extended UV or sunlight exposure can yellow or fade resin and glow pigments.
  • Avoid high heat, flame, or pressure — especially with UV resin, which can warp or become brittle if overheated.
  • Keep away from sharp objects or stacking to protect delicate sculpted and painted details.
  • Glow elements recharge naturally with ambient light — avoid overexposure to harsh UV to maintain their longevity.
